A Family

Filed under: Uncategorized — mail @ 12:35 pm

Once upon a time there was a family and the daughters had blue skin.  The daughters that had light blue skin had dark blue hair and the daughters that had dark blue skin had light blue hair.  And the mother and father had brown skin.  The mother had light brown skin and the father had dark brown skin.

One year later…

One of the daughters died, and that was sad, because she had light blue skin.
The end.

One little bunny sat on a wall, six months old. -illustrated by Ariel-

[insert something spoken in a "foreign language"]

A little bunny sat on a wall.  Ploop!  Right onto its head, right in the water - splash!  Ten months old.  And it was the one…

[Mama's note: Ariel freehanded this herself.]

Ariel's Cat

I made his eyebrows and I put his stickers on as a mouth, eyes, inside of his ears and I cut him out very well, my mommy says. I wrote claws on him which are those lines. And his band-aids because he got cuts (two cuts).

Ariel M’Kaela Ramey, Mommy, Daddy, Sophia Betakyah

family portrait

It’s a family picture and it’s of us - all of us: Ariel, Daddy, Mommy, Sophia - little sister, big sister.  And I drew it to be a family picture, so I added Sophia.  [Mom's note: In other words, it was originally just a picture.  Then Ariel decided to make it us, so she added the baby.]  Daddy’s frowning because he wanted three children, and he doesn’t so he’s very sad. This [the swirly stuff at the bottom] is water.  And we’re on a boat with Mr. and Mrs. Morse (although I didn’t draw them).

[Ariel drew this a few weeks ago and Mama just got around to scanning it and getting it online.]

Cardinals

Filed under: Stories — mail @ 1:25 pm

This is a green cardinal and he flies slower.

This is a grey cardinal and he flies very, very, very fast.

This is a purple cardinal and he flies very, very, very slow.

This is a red cardinal and he flies really, really, really fast.

This is a yellow cardinal and he flies really, really fast up to the sun.  That’s probably why he’s yellow - because he flies up to the sun.

This is also a yellow cardinal and he flies very slowly down to the grey one.

The Writing of Chemonna of My Lions

Filed under: Stories — mail @ 10:42 am

I took my lions to the library. We didn’t get books. And they just stayed in their car. And then we went to dinner. And one wanted spaghetti. And one wanted warm toast. And one wanted hot toast. And the little tiny one wanted beef and salmon patties. Then I go to Wal-Mart. And then we went to my house. And then we went to get married. And then we stayed at home. And then we went to their Abuela’s house. And then they wanted to go to our friend’s house. And then they actually didn’t stay in their car at the library; they just got books. And then they made prints. And then they actually went to Wal-Mart and got out of the car. And I just walked and walked at the library. And I actually went in. And then they just went home to my house, to dinner again.

They had to go somewhere else that was the printer place. They went to somewhere else that was the king place. And they went to dinner again, at the dinner place. They ate a lot there. And they actually came here. They went to my house again and ate dinner. They eat a lot, don’t they? And then they go, and they go, and go. And then they go back to the library. And then we go back to dinner. And then we went to dinner and one wanted warm toast. And one wanted hot toast. And one wanted warm toast. And one wanted spaghetti. And the little baby tiny one wanted beef and salmon. We just went and went and then we stayed home.

(That’s the end.)
